2025 IMSA Lamborghini Super Trofeo

This season World Speed Motorsports will be bringing multiple entries into the thirteenth edition of the Super Trofeo North America.

The first event gets underway in March at Sebring International Raceway in Florida, where the team has won multiple times in formula cars. 

ABOUT THE SERIES

Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America is one of the most exciting racing series in the world.

In North America, Super Trofeo races alongside what is known as some of the premier sportscar racing including the top-tier IMSA SportsCar Championship. 35-plus car grids compete on some of the most iconic circuits including Watkins Glen International and Laguna Seca, ensuring thrilling competition combined with the luxury entertainment and hospitality the Lamborghini brand is known for.

2025 WORLD SPEED DRIVERS

Jaden Conwright - #22 LST

Jaden Conwright, a Lamborghini factory driver, returns to World Speed, a team where his racing journey began. In 2014, he received the VMB Driver Development Scholarship, quickly proving his talent by winning the Formula Car Challenge FS championship in his rookie season. He continued his success with World Speed, securing the vice-champion title in the Pro Formula Mazda class in 2015.

 

Conwright’s career then took him to the international stage, achieving a third-place finish in the 2017 Asian FIA F3 series and nine podiums in the 2019 Porsche GT3 Carrera Cup Italia. Back in the United States, Conwright was awarded the 2022 IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship.

Scott Huffaker #22 LST

Scott Huffaker, who impressed with his pace and consistency during a limited 2024 Super Trofeo campaign in the #22 GPI Lamborghini, brings a wealth of experience to the team.

His impressive resume includes Formula Ford 1600 and F4 championships, a Team USA Scholarship Award, and a prestigious 12 Hours of Sebring victory. Huffaker’s success extends beyond North America, with podium finishes in Europe and Asia across various racing disciplines, including multiple IMSA LMP2 race wins at Sebring.

 

Dario Capitanio - #15 LST

Dario Capitanio brings a wealth of experience to the team. In 2021, he secured a Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America Pro-Am class victory at Watkins Glen. His diverse racing background includes campaigns in the Huracan Super Trofeo, LMP3 cars in the European Le Mans Series, and a Ferrari 488 GT3 in the GT Winter Series in Europe.

Capitanio’s recent successes in 2024 feature a podium finish in the GT3 Winter Series and a pole position start at the prestigious Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the SRO GT4 Americas championship.

Cam Aliabadi - #15 LST

Cam Aliabadi’s journey in motorsports began in 2016 with Mercedes-AMG driving schools. Since then, he has amassed significant track experience through over a dozen classes across renowned circuits in the United States and Europe, including Laguna Seca Raceway, Circuit of the Americas, Spa Francorchamps, and the Nurburgring Nordschleife. Following his victory in the 2021 Lamborghini Pilota Program, Aliabadi embarked on his rookie season in the 2022 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series. His debut year was marked by impressive results, including four podium finishes and a notable win at WeatherTech Laguna Seca Raceway.

In 2024, Aliabadi competed in the #15 World Speed LST for one event, achieving a podium finish alongside World Speed open-wheel champion Jaden Conwright.
