World Speed Motorsports put on a masterclass at Thunderhill Raceway Park (May 15–17, 2026), dominating Rounds 5 and 6 of the Formula Pro USA F3 & F4 Championships.

Competing alongside the inaugural Thunderhill Open within the Formula Awesome run group, the team swept all six pole positions and all six race victories across the F3, F4, and Women’s Racing Series (WRS) categories.

Three World Speed drivers—Dan Decker, Erik Doan, and Yana Kapoor—also earned the event’s inaugural custom green jackets for their weekend-long dominance.

Saturday Morning: Setting the Grid

World Speed locked down the top spot in every FPUSA class during the opening qualifying sessions:

  • F3: Dan Decker took pole and went fastest overall with a 1:48.969.
  • F4: Erik Doan secured pole with a 1:50.80.
  • WRS: Yana Kapoor led the women’ class with a 1:56.48.

Round 5 (Saturday Afternoon)

F4: Doan Dominates, Pyle Claims Third

  • The Win: Pole-sitter Erik Doan led every single lap and clocked the fastest lap (1:52.515) for a maximum-points victory.
  • The Podium: Lucas Hand finished second, while World Speed’s Scott Pyle claimed third to lock down two-thirds of the podium for World Speed.

WRS: Kapoor Wins a Thriller

  • Yana Kapoor engaged in the most competitive battle of the afternoon, swapping the lead back and forth with Ana Palestro. Kapoor ultimately held her ground at the checkered flag for the Saturday victory, ahead of Palestro and third-place Chloe Jade.

F3: A World Speed 1-2

  • The Win: Dan Decker controlled the pace from lights to flag, posting the weekend’s fastest lap (1:49.858) to take a commanding victory.
  • The Podium: Teammate Larry Schnur crossed the line right behind him in second, securing a perfect World Speed 1-2 finish.

Sunday Morning: Qualifying Replays

Sunday morning’s brief session saw World Speed repeat its perfect qualifying form. Decker and Kapoor again topped F3 and WRS, while Doan secured another F4 pole. Austin Tiller rebounded from a Saturday DNF to qualify an impressive third on the grid.

Round 6 (Sunday Afternoon)

F4: Doan’s Perfect Weekend

  • The Win: Erik Doan completed a flawless weekend, leading from start to finish and setting the race’s quickest lap (1:51.818). The maximum points haul moves him within just one point of the championship lead.
  • Top Fives: Austin Tiller crossed the line in third after a strong recovery drive, but a post-race penalty for being out of position at the start dropped him to fourth. Scott Pyle had also been in the fight for that final podium spot, but fell back after a mid-race bobble to secure a fifth-place finish.

WRS: Kapoor Sweeps the Weekend

  • Yana Kapoor and Ana Palestro resumed their duel early on, but Kapoor ultimately pulled away to secure the Sunday victory and a weekend sweep. Chloe Jade finished second, pushing Palestro to third. Kapoor leaves Thunderhill with an extended championship lead.

F3: Decker Remains Undefeated

  • Dan Decker delivered another flawless performance, leading every lap and setting the fastest lap.
  • The Streak: This win marks a perfect 6-for-6 start to Decker’s 2026 campaign (six wins and six fastest laps in six races).
