Continuing its commitment to developing young talent, World Speed Motorsports will be awarding the 2024 ROK Sonoma VLR Senior Champion a free F4 test day.

World Speed Motorsports has a proven track record of propelling young racers onto the professional stage. Past World Speed award winners like Scott Speed, Joey Hand, Michael McDowell, and Conor Daly are testaments to the program’s success, achieving victories in top series across the globe.

Team Principal Telo Stewart emphasizes the clear connection between the ROK Sonoma program and the path to professional racing. He clarifies, “The VLR Champion’s proven skill and experience are a perfect match for Formula Pro USA, and this F4 test day is the ideal stepping stone. Recognizing this, we signed 2023 ROK Sonoma karter Valentino Garbarino to train with us and compete in this season’s F4 championship. His talent has been evident during winter testing, and we’re excited for his debut.” Garbarino was the 2024 recipient of the VMB Driver Development Scholarship.

Valentino’s first race weekend in the F4 March 22nd – 24th at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, CA. ROK Cup Sonoma’s first race weekend is February 23-25 at Sonoma Raceway.
